I spent close to two decades building a career I was proud of and quietly drowning in. In my early forties — nowhere near retirement, right in the middle of my prime earning years — a health scare made the decision my mind wasn't willing to make on its own.

I'm Latina, I have a family, and I'm still figuring this out in real time alongside my partner, not from some finished, tidy vantage point. Right now that looks like building toward six months abroad and six months rooted locally — not an escape, just a different balance.

I write under a pen name because the story is true and still too personal to attach my name to. But the system is real, I use it myself, and I built this course to be the thing I wish someone had handed me before my body forced the question.
